A plain explanation of what data WClient and this website touch, and what they don't.
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the WClient software (the "Software"), and when you visit this website, our GitHub repository, or our Discord and Telegram communities (together, the "Services"). We've tried to keep this short and honest rather than padded out with boilerplate.
WClient runs locally on your device and operates at the network packet level between your game client and the Minecraft server you connect to. It is not built around any account system, and it does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, chat logs, or gameplay data to us. Any settings or module configuration you set are stored locally in JSON files on your own device.
Because WClient's current development happens closed-source, we can't make guarantees about internal implementation details beyond this policy. If a future release introduces any form of telemetry, update-checking, or crash reporting, this page will be updated to disclose it and, where applicable, how to opt out.
When you visit this website, some information is generated automatically as part of normal web hosting, such as:
We use this only in aggregate, to understand traffic and keep the site running - not to individually identify visitors. This site loads Google Fonts and Font Awesome from third-party CDNs; those providers may process connection data (like your IP address) as described in their own privacy policies.
Our source code is hosted on GitHub. If you star, fork, open issues, or comment on the repository, that activity is handled under GitHub's own Privacy Statement, not this one.
Our community spaces run on Discord and Telegram. Anything you post there - messages, your username, avatar, and activity - is handled according to Discord's Privacy Policy and Telegram's Privacy Policy respectively. We only see what those platforms make visible to server admins/moderators and don't export or sell that data.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't have advertising or tracking partners on this site. We may disclose information if required to by law, or to protect the security of the Services and our community.
The Services aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as the Software evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
Questions about this policy can be raised in our Discord or via an issue on our GitHub repository.
